This is a two hour cross ice 3 on 3 pickup hockey. No teams or coaches will be involved. Just an opportunity for kids to have fun playing hockey and practicing their moves.

The Orange County Spring Select League

Team Selection
Select teams are selected through tryouts. ALL players interested in playing for the Anaheim Wildcats needs to participate in the tryouts (there are no held spots). The evaluation of players during tryouts is made by the team coaches and outside evaluators. After the last tryout session at each level, roster spots will be offered to selected players. These players will be given a "Commitment Form", which says the player is committing to play for the Anaheim Wildcats during the spring season and the parents are accepting the financial obligation (see above "Program Fees"). A portion (approx. 25%) of the program fee for the season is due at the time of signing. Both the signed Commitment Form and the payment is due on the day of team selection to confirm the players roster spot. See the Tryouts page for more information on the team tryouts.

Other Considerations

Commitment
The development and performance of each team is demonstrated by the growth of the players as a TEAM. Each player needs to commit to attending each practice and game prior to signing with the Anaheim Wildcats. Their coaches and teammates are going to need to depend on them. Parents need to commit to the availability of each player. Ridesharing and carpooling can usually be arranged within a team.

Parental Involvement
There are many opportunities for parents to get involved with their team. Each team will need a Team Manager, tournament coordinator, and web page editor plus off-ice game officials for each home game. Each team will also need a parent to represent their team at the Friends of the Anaheim Wildcats meetings (parent's auxiliary). All parents are welcomed, and encouraged, to attend Friends of the Anaheim Wildcats meetings.
